Circular Economy strategies for healthcare sustainability: some insights from Italy

Over the recent years, healthcare organizations together with international and national policymakers have developed actions and plans pointing to better manage economic, social and environmental resources. Thus, some of these organizations have taken a step forward the application of Circular Economy (CE) strategies, mainly intended to meet the goal of zero waste. In this vein, this paper explores if and how healthcare organization are open to enact CE strategies.
